Well hello to all,
I am a newbie to this so apologise up front for any errors .
I have been making basic handmade cards now for about 12 years, as
well as showing some ladies here at my home how they can quite easily
do it themselves also.
It is a great social few hours that we spend together and have a few
laughs along the way.
Anyway, I have decided now to help a lady called Tracy from near
Lake Macquarie to help make cards to send to the Australian troops
overseas so they can send a card home to their loved ones back here.
it is all voluntary work .
So I have started to make my first batch of cards for them,
and will try and show you how I went about it
Here is a photo of some of the images I have printed onto
glossy photo card ,
these printed images have been purchased from a site called 'crafts u print'
I have then cut them all to size
I then got all my small envelopes out and
have them ready to use
then round cornered all the images that need it,
then got an amount of card stock ready to use and round
cornered some of them as well to match the cards
then got some paper trimmed up ready for the inserts
and round corned them as well
stuck these all together and have half the batch done
and ready to go
then printed off some more images,
and repeated the same process again
second lot is now all done as well and ready
all cards have a handmade by Irene label on the back
now all cards are ready to pack into there cello bags,
but as my plastic bags are for C6 size cards I have to cut
